Meet our Presenter: Professor Jen Lara.
Jen Lara is a college professor, blogger, public speaker, and lover of really big mountains. She spends her days as a professor of teacher education at Anne Arundel Community College. A graduate of Michigan State University, University of Colorado and Johns Hopkins University, her career highlights include attending the White House Summit on Community Colleges, blogging for the White House, winning the NISOD award of excellence, and serving on the 21st Century Commission on the Future of Community Colleges. Her most recent work includes co-chairing an implementation team related to the 21st Century Commission's report, "Reclaiming the American Dream". Her team focused on faculty engagement and leadership development- two of her main interests areas. Jen recently co-authored an ebook available at Hello, Strategies.
